Elyse specializes in working with athletes of all levels, moms-to-be, and busy working parents on optimal nutrition for lifelong health and happiness. She loves freeing people from counting calories and stressing about the latest diet trends. Elyse proves that real food is meant to be enjoyed and that fat is essential for satiation and a healthy metabolism. From the research that went into writing Run Fast Eat Slow and from working with 4-time Olympian Shalane Flanagan, Elyse has a special understanding of the nutrition needs of runners. From her own personal story she has a passion for working with women who want to eat right to overcome fertility issues. She is available via Skype video or in person in Bend, Oregon.
NOTE: Due to my busy schedule with writing my 2nd book (before my 2nd baby arrives!), I'm currently taking on new clients on a very limited basis. Time slots are available on Mondays and Wednesdays and are saved for women suffering from athletic amenorrhea or fertility issues.

Elyse has written stories and developed recipes for Nike Running, Women’s Running, Runner's World, 1859 Magazine, Summer Tomato and ESPN W. Elyse is well versed in developing content to maximize online reach. In her previous career, she managed the global social media content for Nike Running and was a digital producer at Nike for nearly 10 years.
Elyse is currently the lead of product development at Picky Bars and is unable to take on new clients at this time.
Elyse is a passionate and engaging educator and is available to speak about food, health, and nutrition at events across the country. In 2017 Elyse will be speaking at the Shamrock Marathon in VA Beach, Peachtree in Atlanta, and Runners World retreats.
